Nouvelle évolution des populaires et mythique Anasazi Velcro, les Galileo ont beaucoup de similitudes avec leurs prédécesseurs. A prime a bord, on pense avoir à faire aux même varappes. Détrompez-vous, le fit est différent.

La talonnière est moins agressive (retours vers l'intérieur moins prononcé) et rends le soulier plus agréable à porter dès le départ. Ceci avait partiellement été corrigé sur la dernière génération d'Anasazi Velcro. Plus large que sont prédécesseur, les orteils se moulent au chausson, mais laisse beaucoup de place à l'ensemble du pied. Grimper les velcros non fermé n'est plus une option.

Outre certains petits détails, les Galileo se rapprochent grandement des Anasazi. Là où ça devient intéressant, c'est au niveau de la semelle. Cette évolution vient équipé du nouveau caoutchouc Onyx. La semelle semble à prime abord plus épaisse et relativement raide en torsion latéral. On ne sent pas les prises aussi bien, mais une fois le pied posé sur le plus petit des crimpers, il demeure en place. Ils sont précis et demandent également beaucoup de précision. La rigidité de la semelle rends les pas en adhérence plus ardus, mais facilite le travail en edging.

New evolution of the very popular and mystical Anasazi Velcro, the Galileo have lots in common with their predecessor. At first sight, we think the shoes are the same. Think again, the fit is a bit different.

The heel is less aggressive and make for a better fit right out of the box - with less pain on the tendon. This had been partially corrected on the latest generation of the Anasazi Velcro. Larger then it's predecessor, the toes fit well to the front but leave quite a bit of space for the reminder of the foot. Climb with the Velcro un-tied is not an option any more.

Other then small details, the Galileo are pretty close in look to the Anasazi. Where thing change and become interesting is with the sole. This new evolution comes with the new Onyx rubber. The sole is also quite thick and stiff on lateral torsions. You don't feel the foot holds that much, but if properly placed even on the smallest crimpers, it stays in place. The offer and require a lot of precision. The rigidity of the sole makes smearing harder, but edging becomes much more easier.
